I like to do special stories on the weekend, especially when it impacts a large group of people. This particular story will affect many Time Warner Cable customers in the New York area as soon as tonight at midnight, EST. Madison Square Garden and Madison Square Garden + are in a contract negotiation with Time Warner over the price of their channels.
Some of you may remember that this happens every year, but very few times does it actually come down to the channels getting pulled. According to Time Warner, MSG is demanding 53% more for its programming which includes New York Knicks and Rangers games, as reported by Deadline.
