Chips are the American company of computers to smartphones
The U.S. Intel announced its entry into the cell phone market in China through a smartphone multinational Lenovo in Beijing.
“The best of Intel’s next in mobile phones,” announced the company’s chief executive, Paul Otellini, during a lecture held on Tuesday at the Consumers Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. “The Chinese will be the first to have smart phones with chips from Intel, because they represent the world’s largest market for mobile multitasking.”
The vice president of Lenovo, Liu Jun, participated, along with Otellini’s presentation of the K800 cell, which has an Intel microprocessor and uses the Android software from Google. The unit also has a touch screen of 4.5 inches and is able to transmit video wirelessly to TV sets, Lenovo.
